What is a Hispanic Rhinoplasty?

A Hispanic rhinoplasty is different from any other type of nose job. It is unique from the African American, Caucasian and Middle Eastern rhinoplasty, and thus is treated as such by Dr. Morin. Though it is true that not all Hispanic patients have the exact same features, there are many similarities that define the nasal anatomy of the Hispanic nose. For example, a Hispanic rhinoplasty may be effective in improving:

  • An nasal tip that lacks proper definition and/or projection
  • Wide nostrils that appear flared
  • Thick nasal skin that makes the nose appear overall larger and wider
  • A hump in the nose that is apparent from the front/side profile

What to Expect Before and After Your Hispanic Rhinoplasty

Getting a nose job is a commitment, so you should make sure that you can take enough time off from your daily routine to properly heal and relax after your surgery. Swelling will be most exaggerated for the first couple months following your rhinoplasty, after which time the shape of your new nose will be able to be more visibly assessed. Your new nose, designed and implemented by Dr. Morin, will compliment your entire face. You will no longer have to feel self-conscious because its size and shape, and instead will be confident that you are giving the world the best representation of yourself.
